In 2020 we will have the first visit of Penderyn distillery to the Harrow Festival. We look forward to welcoming this pioneer of Welsh Whisky. In addition to whisky the distillery also produces Brecon Gin a Vodka and Merlyn Liqueur. The distillery nestles at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons; those approaching through the hills may well spot Welsh Mountain Ponies en route. Now very well established and with many awards for its whiskies and other spirits. Penderyn began distilling with a unique Faraday still, designed by Dr David Faraday, a relative of the great Victorian era scientist Michael Faraday. A significant range of whiskies are now available including Madeira finish and special bottlings commemorating Welsh Rugby, Welsh Opera Singers and the like.
