Terms and Conditions

The booking Terms & Conditions contained on the main hotel website www.grimsdyke.com apply as relevant together with these. YOU MUST BE AGED 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO BOOK OR ATTEND. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the whisky tasting sessions if you have no acceptable ID showing you are aged 18 or older. A Challenge 25 approach applies. Please ensure you drink responsibly so that everyone can enjoy the venue and the tastings. Ample water will be available during tasting sessions, please ensure you drink sufficient water and do not drink without having some food.



The festival coincides with some of the January sales. The Oxford Street area is easily reached by Underground station from Stanmore to Baker Street and then a short walk to the main retail areas. Stanmore is usually reached from the hotel by a short taxi ride or a drive and station parking. Room prices indicate the supplements for single occupancy only. Spouses and partners not partaking of the tastings can eenjoy the talks in the Sullivan Suite and Music in the hotel lobby area; seats will though be on a first come first seated basis.

Tasting tickets are not refundable after 1st December 2017 but are transferable.

Certain ticket sessions and rooms are expected to be in very high demand. Whilst the tasting tickets need to be paid for when booked, a non-refundable room deposit of only £20 is required to secure an overnight room. The balance for room and any applicable food is due 4 weeks before the festival.

Should you be unable to attend after booking you may find you can arrange for a reliable friend or relative to attend instead and they pay the balance. We must though be notified of the new guest names in plenty of time.

The appearance of particular distillers or speakers cannot be guaranteed and it may be necessary to make changes.
