Claxtons

Claxtons

Claxtons are a proud Yorkshire based bottler of whisky with some particularly old offerings from diverse distilleries. They include within the range special bottlings that originate with Island and Islay distilleries. The distinctive bottle and focus on ‘Single Cask’ are features of the Claxtons range.

Claxtons continue the tradition of merchants in Scotland who, more than a century ago, were having single casks filled from specified distilleries, later bottling them as they matured.

The range currently includes Ledaig, Bruichladdich, Auchroisk (25 year old), Tobermory and Glentauchers (18 year old) and it will be interesting to discover how much of the range is brought to the Harrow Whisky Festival.
