HOW IT WORKS
You arrive for the start of your chosen session and we loan you a tasting glass. Approach any of the exhibitor tables and they will tell you about the spirits they are pouring and offer you a tasting dram. Bottles of many of the whiskies and gins being poured can be purchased during the festival.
DISTILLER BANQUET
The Distiller Banquet follows on immediately after the Friday evening tasting session. It is an opportunity to dine with distillers and exhibitors whilst enjoying further whisky.HISTORY
The first Harrow Whisky Festival was held at Grim's Dyke hotel in January 2016 and was a great success. They have continued at Grim's Dyke on the second weekend in January each year, although Covid issues prevented festivals taking place in 2021 and 2022. Release of the tickets is eagerly anticipated and a sell-out of all main sessions is routine.EXHIBITORS
Exhibitors change from year to year but typically a core of regulars and new distillers each festival. Our Whisky Scouts have each visited around 100 distilleries in the search for interesting whiskies, gins and other spirits. They have a knack of spotting new and up and coming distilleries with wonderful spirits to taste. Over the years the festival has had whiskies from many of the distilleries in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Several overseas distilleries have also featured including those from Australia, Denmark, France, Israel, South Africa, Slovenia and Switzerland.T&C's
Terms & Conditions on the main hotel website apply at www.grimsdyke.com . Further, in the case of any unacceptable behaviour, the guest will be required to leave with no refund. This especially applies to behaviour that is causing a nuisance to staff, exhibitors or other guests. The appearance of any specific exhibitor or distiller cannot be guaranteed but cancellations are infrequent.EXHIBITORS
Listed below are many of the exhibitors and brands that have featured at earlier Harrow Whisky Festivals and at hotel tastings. The festivals typically feature up to 30 diverse distilleries and brands. A carefully chosen selection for each festival, that never seems to disappoint guests.
