Cotswolds Distillery
The Cotswolds Distillery have previously featured product on our festival table. They have an exciting range of gins and liqueurs in addition to whisky matured in different cask types. The distillery was founded by New Yorker, Dan Szor who fell in love with the Cotswolds during his family weekends, escaping the stress of London. Noticing the barley growing around the Cotswolds meant whisky lover Dan began to think of distilling in the region. A barn conversion in Shipston upon Stour, Warwickshire became the start of the distillery. If touring the distillery you should be able to get closer to the spent barley, which goes as animal feed. Other distilleries often take this through silos into waiting vehicles, whereas Cotswolds Distillery have a system that allows closer observation.
